List of Ingredients
about 15 littleneck clams
1/4 cup white wine (yes, WHITE)
chopped dried chili pepper (to taste)
garlic (to taste)
bed of spinach
1/2 cup 90% cooked rice pastaRecipe
Heat wine with garlic and red peppers in closed pot. add CLOSED clams into pot.
Return lid. Steam until clams all open (do not eat unopened clams!) Add pasta and let soak for 5 min. Pour over bed of spinach. Add baby tomatoes and mushrooms if you so desire. Enjoy!
Variations: I have been known to use 10 mussels, or 10 (medium) shrimp instead of the clams too I sometimes use mussels with red wine and add canned tomatoes, I've warmed up a little and chopped up over the top.
