2 Êcups dry white wine
2 Êcloves garlic, crushed
2 Ê chopped trimmed green onions
1 Ê bay leaf
1 Êteaspoon whole black peppercorns
1 Êpound cod fillets
Recipe
In a skillet, combine wine, garlic, green onions, bay leaf and peppercorns; add cod, then heat just to a boil, lower heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until done. Remove from stove; serve hot.
