    Lime & Crushed Pepper Tuna

    List of Ingredients

    * tuna steaks
    * zest and juice from 1 lemon
    * zest and juice of 2 limes
    * 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
    * 2 tbsp shallots slice in rings
    * 1 tbsp sugar substitute
    * 1/4 tsp crushed pepper

    Recipe

    Using a vegetable peeler, remove peel of lemon and limes, being careful not to get any white pith. Bring 1 cup water to a boil and drop julienne peels into water for 30 seconds. Drain and rinse with cold water. Squeeze juice from lemon and limes and combine with peels, vinegar, shallots, sugar substitute, and crushed peppers. Coat steaks and grill, basting often with mixture. Remove from grill and top with any remaining marinade. Serve.
