I sprinkle some lemon or lime juice on it, as well as freshly ground pepper and minced garlic. ÊThen I broil or grill it. ÊIt is not bland in this manner, and has much more flavor and texture than tuna from a can.
Mix it with a tsp or two of balsamic vinegar (the really good stuff that's been aged), some parlsey, garlic powder, pepper or any other spices you like and it is terrific. Can also add a little cold cooked rice. Let it sit a little to soak in the flavors before eating.
You can also mix canned tuna with 1-2 oz egg white and a tsp or two of oatmeal, a little water, and make into patties, then fry on nonstick pan
