    Shrimp w/ Shiitakes in Orange Sauce

    List of Ingredients




    2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce (off plan)
    1 teaspoon low salt worcestershire (off plan)
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    3/4 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
    10 ounces shiitake mushroom caps, thin sliced
    1 large onion, thin sliced
    1 tablespoon cornstarch (off plan)
    12 ounces medium shelled shrimp
    2 scallions, sliced into 2" thin threads

    IN a large nonstick saucepan, combine the soy sauce, Worcestershire, garlic, and 1/2 cup of the orange juice. Add themushrooms and onions. Cook over medium heat, stirring often for 10-12 minutes, or until themushrooms and onions are nearly cooked.

    Place the cornstarch in a small bowl. Add the remaining 1/4 cup of orange juice and stir to dissolve the cornstarch. Add to the saucepan. Stir over medium-high heat for 1 minute, or untilt he mixture thickens. Add the shrimp. Cook, stirring, for 3 minutes, or until the shrimp are bright pink. Serve sprinkled with the scallions.
