List of Ingredients
3 medium onions, thinly sliced
2 tbl. butter (I used nonstick butter flavor cooking spray instead)
6 cups low sodium chicken broth
1/4 tsp pepper
Recipe
Spray large pot with butter flavor cooking spray and heat over medium. Add the onions and saute until they are well browned. Add the broth and pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce heat, and let simmer for 20 minutes. Serve hot. Note: can also puree mixture with hand blender once done cooking if desired.
