    Turkey Soup

    List of Ingredients

    -1 package of sodium-free turkey tenders, OR white meat from a baked turkey
    -water or turkey broth (about 5-6" deep in a standard pot)
    -1 head of broccoli
    -1 head of cauliflower
    -3 or 4 carrots chopped
    -3 or 4 stalks of celery chopped
    -1/2 cup each of red, yellow, white and green onions chopped
    -1 bag sodium-free frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
    -1/4 cup chopped garlic
    -2 to three Tbsp. Chicken-flavored Herb Ox or other chicken bouillion
    - 2 cups of dried rice
    -Mrs. Dash seasoning to taste

    Recipe

    If using a baked turkey, plan ahead and boil the bones to get a natural turkey broth. Chill broth overnight then skim the fat settled on top. Use broth alone or in combination with water to get the correct amount. If using turkey tenders, grill in pan or grill until cooked thoroughly, then cut into bite-size pieces.

    Mix cooked turkey and all remaining ingredients except the rice pasta or rice. Cook on high until boiling, then reduce heat to low heat and cook until veggies are tender (approximately 30-45 minutes) stirring occasionally. Cook rice pasta or rice according to instructions and add to the finished soup mixture.
