    Asian Stir Fried Broccoli

    1 tbsp NSA vegetable broth
    2 Cloves garlic, minced
    1 tsp grated fresh ginger
    1 sm Onion, sliced
    1 lb Broccoli florets (about 4 Cups)
    1/2 Red bell pepper, sliced in thin strips
    2 tb Water
    1 tb Red wine
    1 tb soy sauce substitute

    Recipe



    Heat broth in a non-stick pan. Add garlic and ginger and stir-fry for 15 seconds. Add onions and stir-fry until wilted, about 1 minute. Add broccoli and red pepper and mix well. Add the water and cover, cooking over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes, or until broccoli is crisp-tender. Mix red wine and soy sauce substitute in a small container. Drizzle over vegetables and toss well to mix.

    Another possibility is to mix 1 - 2 tb of Arrowroot powder with water or broth and add to liquids at the end of the cooking time to thicken sauce.
