Carrots & Apples in White Wine

2 Carrots sliced thin
1 Granny Smith Apple moderately thick sliced chunks
fresh ginger 2 thin slices off root, slivered
White Wine
Lemon Juice to dip apples in
1 tsp SugarRecipe
* In frying pan, steam/slightly cook carrots, and slivers of ginger in 1/4 C
* water. After about 8 min pour off most of remaining water and add white wine and apple chunks (dip in lemon juice to retain color). Cook about 10
* min more or less - they should still be crunchy not soft. Sprinkle with sugar, mix well and cook another 2 - 3 min.
* Should still be crunchy.
