List of Ingredients
2 cups thread sliced cabbage (cut the cabbage so it's shredded in a long strip)
1/4 cup shredded carrot
1/4 cup bean sprouts
1/4 cup wood ear (it's a type of fungus found in asian markets, you can omit this if you want)
1/4 cup enoki mushrooms or any other type of mushroom very thinly sliced
1 egg whites (optional)
- you can even add 2 egg whites if you want the protein portion in here as well
2 tsp of low sodium soy sauce
1/2 tsp of chilli sauce (optional) (or you can use chilli powder or cayenne pepper to taste)
chicken broth to sautee withRecipe
(this is only if you decide to use the egg whites)
1) In a wok/skillet/flat pan, scramble up the egg.
2) Add the shredded carrots, bean sprouts, wood ear, enoki mushrooms and mix.
3) Once they are a bit cooked and thoroughly mixed, add the shredded cabbage and mix a bit and let cabbage sit for a bit to cook.
4) While the cabbage is cooking, add the low sodium soy sauce and chilli sauce and mix.
5) The cabbage should be cooked, but still a bit crispy and not soggy to get the best texture and taste to the dish.
voila, add rice and eat!
