    1 pound Swiss chard stems trimmed and discarded
    1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
    1/4 teaspoon dried basil

    Recipe



    Bring water to a boil in a large steamer. Lay the Swiss chard leaves on the steamer platform and sprinkle with allspice and basil. Steam for 6 to 8 minutes, or until tender.
