    Asparagus Bake

    For those of you who don't often eat Asparagus, I'll go into detail. By the way, if you aren't going to use your asparagus right away, stand it upright in a Pyrex measuring cup or something like that, with a little water at the bottom. Keeps it so fresh!!

    Cut the big ol' icky ends off your asparagus (about 1/2" to an inch, depending on how hard they are)

    Prepare a baking dish by spraying it with either Lemon or Olive Oil Pam, and lay the asparagus in a single layer in the dish.

    Cut up three scallions, and cook them till tender in a half cup of lemon water.

    Pour the lemon water and scallions over the asparagus, and preheat the oven to 500 degrees. Grind some black pepper over the top.

    Bake the asparagus for about 5 to 10 minutes (until stalks are tender). Serve immediately
