Peel onion. Cut into quarters without going all the way through to bottom. Place onion on top of aluminum foil. Pour balsamic vinegar (to taste) over onion. Sprinkle oregano on top. Wrap aluminum foil around onion and seal. Cook approximately 40 minutes (until tender) either on grill or in oven at 350.
