    Pickled Beets

    These can be served hot or cold.

    List of Ingredients

    * 1 can sliced beets (no salt added)
    * sugar substitute
    * vinegar
    * cornstarch (if served hot)

    Recipe

    Served cold: Pour juice off beets into a bowl. Add a little vinegar and sugar substitute to taste. Stir and add sliced beets and chill. Sliced purple onions is also good added to this.

    Served hot: Pour juice off beets into a small pan. Add vinegar and sugar substitute to taste. Add small amount of cornstarch** to thicken. Heat on low until juice thickens then add beets and serve hot.
