My Favorite Recipes
During the fall of 1995, something just clicked. I started eating a lot of salads & vegetables with protein while cutting back on junk & during the next 8 months, effortlessly lost 47 pounds, a loss that I'm still maintaining 4 years later even with a raging sweet tooth!
Most of the following recipes reflect the way I eat. You won't find any complicated recipes here nor any using processed packaged foods or cans except for 2 cans of beans in Kevin's chili cook off! I try to stay away from the craving causing white foods; pasta, rice, potatoes, bagels, breads & prefer to eat my high carbs in the form of beans as part of a balanced 'reward meal'. (Check out the links on the left hand side of this page.)
What you will find are fast, simple, filling, delicious, meat, fish & especially, vegetable dishes.
