    Recipe Introduction


    An elegant yet easy meal. No one will guess it's so easy.

    List of Ingredients




    1 pound beef sirloin or top round steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
    1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    2 Tbsp olive oil
    2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    1 tsp dried thyme
    2 cups fresh or frozen baby carrots
    1 can (14 oz) seasoned beef broth with onion
    1/2 cup dry red wine or additionaly beef broth
    Hot cooked orzo pasta

    Recipe



    Coat beef with flour. In a large skillet, cook beef in hot oil until browned, stirring often. Add mushrooms, garlic and thyme and cook until mushrooms are tender. Add carrots, broth and wine. Bring to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes or until carrots and meat are tender. Serve over hot cooked orzo.

    Yield: 4 servings
