    PIZZA CRUST OR FLAT BREAD

    Recipe Introduction

    This recipe makes a good pizza crust or flat bread. Net carb count is 18.5 for bread,and cut into 12 pieces, it would be 1.5 net carbs per piece. For pizza, the total net carbs would be 40.5 for 2 pizzas. I cut the pizza in to 6 each, which figures to be around 3.3 net carbs per slice.

    List of Ingredients

    8 oz cream cheese
    4 eggs
    1/2 cup almond flour
    1/4 cup parmesan cheese
    3/4 cup carbsense "0" carb bake mix
    1 teaspoon minced garlic
    salt & pepper
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    3 tablespoons olive oil
    Mix all this in a food processor or with beaters, until smooth. Then add and stir by hand.......
    1 cup shredded Italian cheese


    Recipe

    FOR FLAT BREAD,line a cookie sheet with parchment paper, and spread the mix on the paper. Use a piece of plastic wrap, to spread it around, and it's pretty easy, that way. Sprinkle with 2 TEASPOONS OF ASSORTED HERBS, such as basil, oregano, and garlic. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, but check after 20 minutes. Remove from oven and brush with 1 TABLESPOON OLIVE OIL.


    FOR PIZZA, line 2 pizza pans with parchment paper, and follow the same directions until you start to bake. Bake until lightly browned, about 15-20 minutes, at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and add, to each pizza, 1/4 cup ragu pizza sauce, 8 oz shredded mozzerella cheese, and your favorite meat. I used Italian sausage, and pre cooked it. Return to the oven and bake another 15 minutes, or until cheese has melted.
