Beer Batter Bread

List of Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 Tbsp baking powder
- 3 Tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 (12-ounce) bottle beer, at room temperature
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees (F). In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Add the beer all at once, mixing as little as possible; the batter should be lumpy.
- Pour the batter into a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan and brush with the melted butter.
- Bake 35 to 40 minutes, or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean. Turn out onto a rack to cool.
Makes 1 loaf.
