    Beef Burgers with Dill Pickle Rémoulade

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb. lean ground beef
    • 1/2 lb. Jimmy Dean Pork Sausage
    • 1/3 cup grated carrot
    • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
    • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
    • 2 Tbsp dill pickle relish
    • 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp pepper
    • Nonstick cooking spray
    • Dill Pickle Rémoulade (recipe follows)
    • 6 seeded hamburger buns, split and lightly toasted
    • 6 Swiss cheese slices
    • 6 cooked bacon slices
    • .
    • -- Toppings --
    • Green leaf lettuce
    • Sliced ripe tomatoes
    • Thin Vidalia onion slices


    Instructions


    1. Combine first 9 ingredients in a large bowl. Shape into 6 patties.

    2. Cook patties over medium heat in a large skillet or on a griddle coated with cooking spray 5 to 7 minutes on each side, or until done.

    3. Spread Dill Pickle Rémoulade evenly on cut sides of each bun half; layer bottoms with hamburgers, cheese slices, bacon slices and desired toppings.

      Makes 6 servings.

      DILL PICKLE REMOULADE

      1/2 cup real mayonnaise
      1/4 cup dill pickle relish, drained
      1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
      1/4 tsp paprika

      Stir together all ingredients until blended; cover and chill until ready to serve. (Makes 3/4 cup.)
