Blue Cheese-Bacon Burgers

List of Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup (2 ounces) blue cheese, crumbled
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and coarsely crumbled
- 1/4 cup finely chopped sweet onion
- 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
Instructions
- Combine ground beef, blue cheese, bacon, onion, bread crumbs, egg, salt and pepper. Form into 4 patties. Refrigerate until ready to cook.
- Place lightly oiled grill rack 4 inches above medium-hot coals and heat.
- Grill burgers until they are cooked through and a meat thermometer registers 160 degrees (F) in the center.
Makes 4 servings.
