    Blue Cheese-Bacon Burgers

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb. lean ground beef
    • 1/2 cup (2 ounces) blue cheese, crumbled
    • 4 slices bacon, cooked and coarsely crumbled
    • 1/4 cup finely chopped sweet onion
    • 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
    • 1 egg
    • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper


    Instructions


    1. Combine ground beef, blue cheese, bacon, onion, bread crumbs, egg, salt and pepper. Form into 4 patties. Refrigerate until ready to cook.

    2. Place lightly oiled grill rack 4 inches above medium-hot coals and heat.

    3. Grill burgers until they are cooked through and a meat thermometer registers 160 degrees (F) in the center.

      Makes 4 servings.
