Butter: Chocolate Butter

- 8 Tbsp (1 stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 3 Tbsp sweetened cocoa powder
Instructions
- With a heavy-duty electric mixer on low speed or a food processor fitted with the metal blade, mix the butter and cocoa until smooth.
- Using a rubber spatula, scrape the butter into a small bowl, or roll into a log shape. Cover with plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. For easiest spreading, let stand for 30 minutes at room temperature to soften.
Makes ½ cup.
