    Butter: Herb Butter

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup butter, softened (no substitutes)
    • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh basil
    • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh thyme leaves
    • 1 tsp grated lemon peel


    Instructions


    1. With a rubber spatula, beat butter, basil, thyme and lemon peel in a small bowl until well combined. Transfer butter to a sheet of plastic wrap or waxed paper. Roll into an 8-inch log and refrigerate overnight. To serve, cut log crosswise into eight 1-inch slices.

      Serve with corn on the cob or with grilled fresh vegetables; or, spread it between slices of French bread, then heat.
