Source of Recipe
From "Porch Parties" by Denise Gee
Recipe Introduction
"My Mississippi River hometown of Natchez, a few hours north of New Orleans, is known for its antebellum houses, its Southern hospitality, and the truly fine milk punch you're apt to enjoy here. This is my family's recipe, which you can double for a crowd. Serve it very cold."
List of Ingredients
◦  2 cups half-and-half
◦  2 cups milk
◦  1½ cups brandy
◦  1½ tsp vanilla extract
◦  Garnish: ground nutmeg
Recipe
Combine the half-and-half, milk, brandy, and vanilla in a pitcher. Chill for several hours or overnight.
Pour the milk punch into small cocktail glasses filled with crushed or cracked ice.
Garnish with several dashes of ground nutmeg.
â—¦ A Tasteful Tip:
Consider doing what many Natchezians do: Take milk punch to friends as a gift on Christmas eve so their families and visiting guests can enjoy it on Christmas day.
