- 1 (18.25-oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1 (3.4-oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding mix
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup cream sherry
- Powdered sugar

- -- For the Berries & Wine --
- 2 cups dry red wine (such as Zinfandel)
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 cups fresh strawberries
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 cup fresh blackberries
Instructions
- Cake Preparation: Beat cake mix and next 4 ingredients at medium speed with an electric mixer 2 minutes. Pour batter into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes; remove from pan, and cool on a wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with Berries & Wine.
- To make the Berries & Wine: Stir together the first 3 ingredients. Add remaining ingredients; let stand at room temperature for 1 hour.
Chill 30 minutes before serving.
Serve with Cream Sherry Cake.
