Fire-Roasted Apples

- Large apples, preferably MacIntosh or Royal Gala
- Raisins
- Cinnamon
Instructions
- Wash and core the apples, and place each one right side up on a separate square of aluminum foil large enough to wrap the apple securely and fully.
- Stuff the hollow core with raisins and sprinkle cinnamon liberally over the apple and into the core.
- Wrap the apples in their foil and place carefully on the edge of the fire (or in a hot oven) for about 15 minutes.
Unwrap carefully, cool slightly and eat.
