Orange Cranberry Sauce

"Let a jar of this fruity and festive cranberry sauce be the gem of your turkey dinners. Combine tart cranberries with the zest and juice of oranges for a special preserve that will have friends and relatives wanting to eat it with a spoon straight from the jar. A jar of this preserve makes a lovely hostess gift when you're invited over for turkey dinner."
List of Ingredients
â—¦ 6 cups fresh or thawed frozen cranberries
â—¦ Zest of 2 navel oranges
â—¦ 1 ½ cups freshly squeezed orange juice
â—¦ 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
Recipe
Combine the cranberries, orange zest, orange juice, and sugar in a large, heavy-bottomed pot. Bring to a boil over high heat.
Reduce the heat to medium and continue cooking at a low boil, stirring constantly, for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat.
Ladle into four clean 250 mL (1 cup) jars, leaving a ¼-inch headspace. Process in a boiling water bath canner for 15 minutes.
Makes four 250 mL (1 cup) jars
