Double Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

List of Ingredients



• 3/4 cup sugar
  
• 1 stick margarine, softened
  
• 2 eggs
  
• 1 tsp vanilla
  
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
  
• 1/2 cup cocoa
  
• 1/4 tsp baking soda
  
• 1 cup quick-cooking oats
  
• 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  






Instructions



1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F).
   
   
2. In large mixing bowl, beat together sugar and margarine until well blended. Add eggs and vanilla and blend thoroughly. In small bowl, stir together flour, cocoa and baking soda; add to butter mixture, blending well. Stir in oatmeal and chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoons onto greased cookie sheet.
   
   
3. Bake 7 to 9 minutes, or until cookies begin to set. (Be careful not to overbake.) Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.
   
   Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
