Peanut Butter-Chocolate Chip Cookies

- 1 (1 pound, 1.5-ounce) pkg. chocolate-chip cookie mix
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup stick margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/3 cup dry roasted peanuts, coarsely chopped
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the cookie mix, egg, margarine, peanut butter and peanuts. Use your hands to mix well, or use the paddle attachment of an electric mixer.
- Drop the dough by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in a preheated 375º F oven about 11 minutes, or until light golden brown.
- Cool cookies on the sheets about a minute before transferring to racks.
Makes about 2-1/2 dozen cookies.
