Snowball Pecan Cookies

- 4 cups soft butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 4 cups chopped pecans
- 4 cups flour, sifted

- Confectioner's sugar
Instructions
- Cream the butter and sugar together until fluffy. Add vanilla and pecans. Slowly add flour until mixed thoroughly.
- Chill dough for one hour.
- Roll into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 275 degrees for 45 minutes -- until set, but not brown.
- While still warm, roll in confectioner's sugar. Cool. Roll in sugar again.
