• 4 cups soft butter
  
• 1/2 cup sugar
  
• 2 tsp vanilla
  
• 4 cups chopped pecans
  
• 4 cups flour, sifted

• Confectioner's sugar
  






Instructions



1. Cream the butter and sugar together until fluffy. Add vanilla and pecans. Slowly add flour until mixed thoroughly.
   
   
2. Chill dough for one hour.
   
   
3. Roll into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 275 degrees for 45 minutes -- until set, but not brown.
   
   
4. While still warm, roll in confectioner's sugar. Cool. Roll in sugar again.
