Crockpot Pasta Sauce

List of Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 lb. bulk Italian sausage
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 2 (28 oz.) cans Italian tomatoes, drained and chopped
- 1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (28 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 tsp basil
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp rosemary
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
- 1/4 cup dry red wine
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp instant beef bouillon
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp Romano cheese, finely grated
Instructions
- Saute onion in oil; add sausage and beef, a little at a time, and cook over medium-high heat until browned. Drain.
- Add cooked sausage and beef to crockpot with all other ingredients except cheese; cover crockpot and cook on LOW 5 to 6 hours.
- Before serving, add cheese to sauce and stir; serve over pasta.
