• 2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  
• 1/2 cup butter
  
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  
• 4 peaches - pitted, peeled, and sliced
  
• 1/3 cup rum
  
• 1 quart vanilla ice cream
  






Instructions



1. In a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter and cinnamon. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until golden brown - about 3 minutes. Add peaches and carefully turn to coat.
   
   
2. In a separate small pan, gently heat rum until warm. Pour slowly over peach mixture and ignite immediately. Do not stir.
   
   Spoon the sauce and peaches over vanilla ice cream; serve immediately.
   
   Serves 6
