Sauce: Dark Chocolate Fudge Sauce

- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (preferably Dutch-process)
- 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Dash of salt
Instructions
- In 1-quart or larger glass bowl or measuring cup, combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, cocoa and cream. Mix well (mixture will be very thick, but will liquefy upon heating). Add butter.
- Heat in microwave oven on HIGH (100% power) 1-1/2 to 2 minutes, stirring once, until well blended. Heat 1 to 1-1/2 minutes longer, or until bubbly and sugars are dissolved. Stir in vanilla and salt.
- Serve hot over ice cream desserts. Or cool and store in refrigerator up to 2 weeks. Reheat in microwave oven on LOW power 1 to 2 minutes, stirring twice, until of good pouring consistency.
Makes 1-3/4 cups.
