    Orville Redenbacher's Caramel Corn Apples

    List of Ingredients


    • 14 ounces caramels
    • 2 Tbsp water
    • 6 wooden sticks
    • 6 small Granny Smith apples, washed, dried, stems removed
    • 1 bag popped Orville Redenbacher's Butter Microwave Popping Corn (discard unpopped kernels and lightly crush popped corn)


    Instructions


    1. In a 1-1/2-quart saucepan, melt caramels and water over low heat, stirring occasionally, until smooth. Remove from heat.

    2. Insert wooden sticks into stem end of each apple. Dip apples, one at a time, into hot caramel sauce; immediately press popped corn onto apple.

    3. Set on wax paper; store in refrigerator. Before serving, let stand at room temperature 15 minutes to allow caramel to soften.

      Yield: 6 apples
