Strawberries with Amaretto

List of Ingredients



• 2 pints strawberries, hulled and each cut into quarters, or halves if small
  
• 2 Tbsp amaretto liqueur
  
• 2 Tbsp sugar
  
• 1/2 tsp grated fresh orange peel
  






Instructions



1. In a large bowl, toss strawberries with liqueur, sugar and peel. Let stand 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
   
   Spoon strawberries with their juice into 4 dessert bowls.
   
   Makes 5 cups,
   or 4 servings.
