Christmas: Gingerbread Martini

List of Ingredients
- Gingerbread Syrup:
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 5 whole cloves
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 (2-inch) piece fresh ginger, cut into rounds

- Gingerbread Martini:
- 4 ounces Irish cream liqueur
- 4 ounces vodka
- 2 ounces coffee liqueur
- 2 ounces Gingerbread Syrup
- 2 scoops vanilla ice cream, softened
- Ice cubes
- Whipped cream, for serving
- Gingerbread cookies, crushed, for serving
Instructions
- For the Syrup:
Add all of the syrup ingredients to a small saucepan over medium-high heat and bring them to a boil. Once the sugar has dissolved, reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove the syrup from the heat and let it cool before straining it. Refrigerate it in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
- For the Gingerbread Martini:
Add the Irish cream liqueur, vodka, coffee liqueur, Gingerbread Syrup, and ice cream to a cocktail shaker. Add the ice and shake well before pouring the cocktail into four martini glasses. Top each with whipped cream and cookie crumbs.
