Christmas: Jim Beam Bourbon Egg Nog

List of Ingredients
- 6 large egg yolks
- ¾ cup sugar
- 2½ cups milk, divided use
- ¾ cup Jim Beam bourbon or other bourbon
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
Instructions
- Beat egg yolks and sugar in saucepan. Slowly beat in 2 cups of milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until mixture coats the back of a metal spoon.
- Remove from heat and strain into serving bowl. Stir in remaining milk, Jim Beam, vanilla and nutmeg.
- Serve warm. Or, you can cover and chill at least 8 hours. Sprinkle with nutmeg before serving.
Makes 6 servings.
