    Thanksgiving: Pecan Tassies

    List of Ingredients


    • ½ cup butter, softened
    • 1 (3-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
    • 1 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1½ cups firmly packed light brown sugar
    • 2 Tbsp butter, melted
    • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • 2/3 cup chopped pecans


    Instructions


    1. Beat softened butter and cream cheese at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy. Gradually add flour, beating well. Cover and chill 2 hours.

    2. Shape dough into 30 (1-inch) balls; press balls into lightly greased mini (1¾-inch) muffin pans. Set aside.
      Combine brown sugar and next 3 ingredients; stir well. Stir in pecans. Spoon 1 tablespoon pecan mixture into each pastry shell.

    3. Bake at 350° F for 25 minutes.
      Remove from pans immediately, and cool completely on wire racks.

      Makes 2½ dozen.
