    Mocha Ice Cream

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    • 2 Tbsp instant coffee
    • 3/4 cup sugar
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • 4 cups half-and-half
    • 1 cup whipping cream


    Instructions


    1. In a small saucepan, combine cocoa powder, coffee, and sugar. Gradually stir in milk. Stir over medium heat until mixture begins to boil. Cool to room temperature.

    2. In a large bowl, combine cocoa mixture, vanilla, half-and-half, and whipping cream.

    3. Pour into an ice cream freezer, and freeze according to manufacturer's directions, until ice cream has set.

      Makes 2 quarts.
