Frozen Fruit Cups

Recipe Introduction
"A friend at church shared this recipe with me. I enjoy these fruit cups most in the summer because they are so refreshing and are cool and tasty on a hot day. These are perfect for the whole family."
List of Ingredients
◦ 4 cups sugar
◦ 8 cups very warm water
◦ 1 can pineapple tidbits, any size
◦ 1 jar maraschino cherries, any size, undrained
◦ 1 can mandarin oranges, any size, undrained
◦ 1 (12-ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate
◦ 1 (12-ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate
Optional add-ins:
◦ 4 to 6 peaches, peeled, pitted, and chopped
◦ 1 quart sliced or chopped strawberries
◦ 1 pint blueberries
◦ 2 to 3 sliced bananas
◦ One package (6- to 8-ounce) plastic punch cups, approximately 24
Recipe
Pour sugar and water into a very large bowl; stir to dissolve sugar.
Combine desired fruits with juice concentrates and sugar/water mixture until well blended.
Fill plastic cups with fruit-and-juice mixture.
Place in freezer on cookie sheets until frozen.
Makes 24 servings
