List of Ingredients
- Cooking spray
- 4 medium red potatoes (2½- to 3-inch)
- 2 tsp olive or vegetable oil
- 1 tsp dried basil leaves
- 1 tsp garlic salt
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 500° F. Scrub the potatoes with a vegetable brush. Cut each potato lengthwise into 8 wedges on the cutting board, using a sharp knife.
- Put potatoes into a medium mixing bowl. Drizzle the olive oil over potatoes. Toss potatoes with a wooden spoon to coat them with oil. Sprinkle potatoes with the basil and garlic salt.
- Spread potatoes in a single layer in a 15- x 10-inch pan with sides that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Bake for 8 minutes. Stir potatoes with spoon and bake for 7 to 10 minutes longer, or until they are a little soft but crisp on the outside. Use pot holders to take the pan out of the oven.
