Chocolate Chip Cookie Milk Shakes

Recipe Introduction
"My mother used to make these for my brother, my sister, and me when we were sick and didn't have much of an appetite. What kid—sick or not—would turn down a milk shake? What Mom didn't tell us at the time was that she blended an egg into the milk shakes so we'd get some protein and some extra nutrition while we were on the mend. This version combines America's favorite cookie with the beloved soda fountain drink. Sorry, Mom, I now get my eggs by using rich French vanilla ice cream, which is made with eggs and specks from vanilla beans."
List of Ingredients
â—¦ 6 scoops French vanilla ice cream (about 3 cups)
â—¦ 6 soft-baked chocolate chip cookies, broken into pieces
â—¦ 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
â—¦ 1 ¼ cups whole milk
â—¦ Whipped cream
Recipe
Combine the ice cream, pieces of five of the cookies, the chocolate syrup, and milk in a blender. Blend well.
Divide the mixture between two tall glasses.
Garnish with the whipped cream and the remaining chocolate chip cookie bits.
