Broiled Cod with Chili-Lime Butter

- 2 Tbsp butter, softened
- 2 tsp lime juice
- 1/2 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- 1 lb. cod fillets
- 1/8 tsp salt
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Lime wedges
Instructions
- Cream together the butter, lime juice, jalapeno pepper and chili powder.
- Place the cod on a lightly oiled broiling pan, sprinkle with salt and pepper and spread with the seasoned butter.
- Broil the fish about 4 inches from the heat source for 12 minutes per inch of thickness, or until no longer translucent. Serve with wedges of lime.
