Garlic Prawns with Linguine

List of Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 envelope Lipton Savory Herb w/ Garlic Soup Mix
- 2 Tbsp dry sherry
- 2 Tbsp brandy
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh Italian parsley leaves
- 1-1/2 lbs. large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lb. linguine, cooked until al dente (drained and kept warm)
Instructions
- In a large saute pan, melt the butter in the oil over medium heat. When the butter begins to foam, add the garlic and cook, stirring, until it is softened -- about 3 minutes.
- Add the soup mix and cook, stirring, for another minute. Add the sherry, brandy and parsley and bring the sauce to a boil.
- Add the shrimp and toss them in the garlic sauce until they begin to turn pink. Remove the pan from the stove; toss the shrimp and sauce with the cooked pasta and serve immediately.
