Suppertime Tuna Melt

- 3/4 cup light mayonnaise
- 4 pita breads
- 2 cans (6-1/2 oz. each) flaked tuna, drained
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup minced dill pickle
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Spread 1 tablespoon of the mayonnaise over each pita.
- Combine the tuna, celery, pickle, onions, remaining mayonnaise, and salt and pepper to taste; spread over pitas. Sprinkle with cheese, covering as much area as possible.
- Broil on baking sheet 4 inches from heat for 3 minutes or until heated through and bubbly.
Makes 4 servings;
Ready in 15 minutes.
