Three-Ingredient Blue Cheese Bites

Recipe Introduction
"Without a doubt, this is the easiest recipe I've ever made. It's also one that's been in my family for as long as I can remember—one my grandma would make anytime she had a party. You need only three simple ingredients: store-bought biscuit dough, butter, and blue cheese. Usually I recommend making your own biscuits, but for this recipe, store-bought dough is the only way to go. It just works, and sometimes it's okay to take a little shortcut. I've yet to meet anyone who doesn't love this appetizer—and it's great for entertaining year-round. For this recipe in particular, I recommend using a 4-ounce package of pre-crumbled blue cheese. This will be less 'stinky' and tends to go over better in a crowd. Alternately, if you really hate blue cheese, you can use feta, but I encourage you to give the blue cheese a try first."
List of Ingredients
â—¦ ½ cup (1 stick) salted butter
â—¦ 1 (12-ounce) can flaky biscuit dough
â—¦ 4 ounces crumbled blue cheese
â—¦ Fresh parsley or thyme leaves, roughly chopped, for garnish (optional)
Recipe
Preheat the oven to 375° F.
Place the butter in a 9-inch glass pie plate and microwave to melt.
Separate the dough into individual biscuits and cut each into quarters. Place the pieces in the pie plate and toss to coat with the butter. Sprinkle the blue cheese evenly over the dough.
Bake until the top is lightly browned and bubbly, 15 to 20 minutes. Top with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve.
