- 1 tsp butter or margarine
- 1 pita bread round, halved and split
- 3 slices Gruyere or Swiss cheese (about 3 oz.)
- 2 Tbsp finely chopped red sweet pepper
- 1 Tbsp finely chopped green onion
Instructions
- Spread butter on each side of pita halves. Place all remaining ingredients inside pita halves.
- In a large skillet, cook sandwiches over medium-high heat for 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
