List of Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp butter
- ½ cup brown sugar, packed
- ¼ cup light corn syrup
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- 3-2/3 cups toasted oatmeal cereal squares
- 1¼ cups bite-size crispy rice cereal squares
- 2 cups mixed nuts
Instructions
- Combine butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on High for 1 minute, or until butter is melted. Stir in baking soda and vanilla.
- In a large bowl, combine cereal and nuts; fold in syrup mixture. Spread on an aluminum foil-lined jelly-roll pan.
- Bake at 200° for one hour, stirring every 20 minutes. Cool completely and store in an airtight container.
Makes about 7 cups.
