Key Lime Trifles

"You don't have to live in Florida to indulge in these pretty little Key Lime Trifles."
List of Ingredients
◦ 1 teaspoon key lime zest
◦ ⅓ cup key lime juice
◦ 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
◦ cup heavy whipping cream
◦ 6 slices pound cake
◦ 1 cups graham cracker crumbs
◦ 1 cup whipped cream, for garnish
◦ Key lime slices and zest, for garnish
Recipe
In a mixing bowl, stir together lime zest, juice, and condensed milk; set aside.
In a separate bowl, beat whipping cream until soft peaks form.
Fold whipped cream into lime mixture. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Cut pound cake slices into small cubes.
Fill each trifle glass with a layer of graham cracker crumbs, followed by alternating layers of key lime filling (pour into a plastic bag and snip corner for easy layering) and pound cake cubes. Finish with a swirl of whipped cream, a lime slice, and zest.
Makes 6 trifles
