    Pork Chops with Cream Gravy

    List of Ingredients


    • ½ cup cracker meal
    • 1 tsp poultry seasoning
    • ¼ tsp salt
    • â…› tsp pepper
    • 6 (½-inch thick) bone-in pork chops
    • 4 bacon slices
    • 1 Tbsp all-purpose flour
    • 1 cup milk
    • ½ tsp salt
    • ¼ tsp pepper


    Instructions


    1. Stir together first four ingredients in a medium bowl. Dredge pork chops in cracker meal mixture.

    2. Cook bacon in a large skillet over high heat until crisp; remove bacon, and drain on paper towels, reserving drippings in skillet. Cook pork chops in hot drippings 4 minutes on each side or until browned; drain on paper towels, reserving drippings in skillet. Transfer pork chops to a serving platter; keep warm.

    3. Add flour to reserved drippings, stirring until well blended. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 1 minute. Gradually add milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 18 minutes or until thickened. Stir in ½ teaspoon salt and ¼ teaspoon pepper.
      Serve pork chops immediately with gravy.

      Makes 6 servings
