Super Bowl: Guacamole

List of Ingredients
- 4 ripe California avocados (2 pounds total), halved, pitted and peeled
- 1/2 cup finely chopped white onion
- 3 to 4 serrano chiles, minced, including seeds
- 2-1/2 Tbsp fresh lime juice, or to taste
- 1-1/4 tsp kosher salt, or to taste

- Tortilla chips
Instructions
- Combine avocados, onions, chiles, lime juice and salt in a bowl, and mash with a fork until avocado is mashed but still somewhat chunky. Stir until blended. Serve with tortilla chips.
Makes about 3-1/2 cups.
Final Comments
The guacamole can be made up to 1 hour ahead and refrigerated, covered with plastic wrap placed directly against its surface.
